Dress in layers to accommodate for temperature changes throughout the session.
Try as we might, the weather is unpredictable, so being prepared for whatever Mother Nature has for you is so very important. You don’t want to get caught in an unexpected rain storm without a jacket, or the temperature to drop unexpectedly and not have warm clothing to help prevent cold from ruining your shoot.
Pack your session outfits the night before
If you take the time to pack you’re outfits the night before, it will allow you to sleep better and wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day. Not to mention, it will help to insure that all of you’re necessary items arrive with you to your shoot.
Bring your favorite snacks or drinks to keep up your energy levels throughout the day
You’re going to want a snack handy before we start taking pictures, because after 2 hours of nonstop photo sessions the last think you’ll be able to do is grab some food on site. So plan on coming prepared with snacks in case it all goes off track – like when running low on energy or hunger pangs strike without warning 😉 A little snack goes miles, so what’s better than some protein packed almonds or edamame?
Get enough sleep so you’re not tired during your senior session day.
You can’t be tired and expect to have a great photoshoot! It’s important that you get enough sleep before your shoot, as it will show on the surface of your face. Plus getting a good nights sleep with save time during the editing process.
